1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the IM Cultural Village website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Reservations & Booking

The following terms apply to all room and service reservations:

• Bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only after you receive a booking confirmation via email.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when making a reservation. We reserve the right to cancel bookings made with false or misleading information.
• Room rates are quoted in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) and are subject to applicable taxes.
• Special requests (early check-in, extra bedding, dietary requirements) are fulfilled on a best-effort basis and cannot be guaranteed.
• Group bookings of 5 or more rooms may be subject to different terms. Please contact us directly for group rates.

3. Payment Terms

The following payment terms apply to all transactions:

• We accept payments through Khalti (for domestic transactions) and Stripe (for international transactions).
• Full payment or a deposit may be required at the time of booking, depending on the rate and room type.
• All prices displayed include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• In the event of a payment failure, your booking will not be confirmed until payment is successfully processed.
• Foreign currency transactions are subject to exchange rates determined by your payment provider.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both guests and the hotel:

• Free cancellation — you may cancel your reservation at no charge up to 48 hours before your scheduled check-in date.
• Late cancellation — cancellations made less than 48 hours before check-in will be charged one night's room rate.
• No-show — failure to arrive on your check-in date without prior notice will result in a charge equal to the full booking amount.
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.
• Non-refundable rates, if offered, are clearly marked at the time of booking and cannot be cancelled or refunded.

5. Check-in & Check-out

Please observe the following check-in and check-out procedures:

• Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 PM (noon).
• Early check-in and late check-out may be arranged subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.
• A valid government-issued photo ID (passport for international guests, citizenship card or national ID for Nepali guests) is required at check-in.
• The primary guest must be at least 18 years of age.
• Any damages to the room or hotel property during your stay will be charged to your account.

6. Guest Conduct

As a cultural heritage property, we ask all guests to observe the following:

• Respect the traditional architecture, Madhubani art, and cultural artifacts throughout the property. These are irreplaceable heritage items.
• Maintain reasonable noise levels, especially between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
• Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas including guest rooms. Designated smoking areas are available.
• Pets are not permitted on the property unless prior approval is obtained from management.
• Guests engaging in illegal activities, causing damage, or behaving in a disruptive manner may be asked to vacate the premises without refund.

7. Restaurant & Dining

The following terms apply to our restaurant and dining services:

• Menu items and prices are subject to change based on seasonal availability.
• We accommodate dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free) with advance notice. Please inform us at the time of booking or at least 24 hours before dining.
• While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. Guests with severe allergies dine at their own risk.
• Restaurant reservations for non-hotel guests are subject to availability.

8. Cultural Activities & Services

For cultural workshops, spa treatments, and other experiences:

• Activities are subject to availability and may require advance booking.
• Some activities (painting workshops, cooking classes) have limited capacity. First-come, first-served basis applies.
• Guests participate in all activities at their own risk. We recommend disclosing any health conditions or physical limitations before participating.
• Artworks created during workshops belong to the guest. Instructional materials and techniques remain the intellectual property of the artists and IM Cultural Village.
• Cancellation of booked activities follows the same 48-hour policy as room reservations.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, photographs, illustrations, Madhubani artwork reproductions, logos, and design elements — is the property of IM Cultural Village or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• IM Cultural Village is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services.
• We are not responsible for service interruptions caused by third-party payment processors, internet service providers, or force majeure events.
• Our total liability for any claim related to your stay shall not exceed the amount you paid for the booking in question.
• We are not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings. A safe is provided in select rooms.

11. Force Majeure

IM Cultural Village shall not be held liable for failure to fulfill any obligation due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, strikes, power failures, or civil unrest. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative dates or a full refund.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Province 2, Nepal.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
